2022–2026
Lashes by LJ
I've been with this SE Portland lash studio since 2022. Logo, board, cards, Instagram, Google, SEO, and the funnel from a phone to a booked chair. First Wix, then a site she owns. I replaced Jotform with signed PDFs into Drive, and I still help manage the site.
Brand + presence · 2022–2025
Brand and presence
I started with the mark, the board, and the cards. Then Instagram, Google, a Wix site with bookings, and a path in from the phone. I kept that presence current as the studio grew.
Logo, brand board, business cards, Wix, Instagram, Google, funnel
The problem
LJ had the chair and the work. Online, there was no mark to stand on, no board to build from, and no simple way for someone to go from Instagram to a booked appointment.
The approach
I drew the logo and the brand board first so everything after had somewhere to sit — including the business cards. Then Instagram, Google, SEO, and a Wix site with bookings, so a new client knew what to do next. In 2024 and 2025 I came back and updated that Wix site as the studio changed.
What shipped
She had a brand in her hand and online, a way to take bookings, and someone on the tech so she could stay in the chair. Wix held the bookings. I kept the presence current as the studio grew.
- — Logo
- — Brand board
- — Business cards
- — Instagram, Google, and SEO
- — Path from Instagram to a booked appointment
- — First Wix site with bookings
- — Wix updates through 2024–2025 as the studio grew

A site she owns
A modern front she owns — services, gallery, booking, and a voice that feels like the artist. I build it and keep it. Wix stays in the back for client bookings and sales analytics.
Owned site, ongoing web presence, Wix bookings and analytics
Visit the siteThe problem
The Wix years got her open and booking. The front no longer matched a seven-year studio on Division Street, and it did not feel like a site that was hers.
The approach
I built a current front in her brand — a site she owns, that I manage. Services with real prices, a gallery of actual sets, and a path from first visit to consultation and deposit. Wix stayed where it was useful: client bookings and sales analytics. She does not edit the site. I handle the technical side and the web presence.
What shipped
The front is hers. New clients find her there and book. She stays in the chair. I keep the site, the bookings back, and the rest of the tech.
- — A front that looks like the studio, owned and managed by me
- — Wix on the back for bookings and sales analytics only
- — Service menu with real prices and booking
- — Gallery of volume, mega, wispy, wet, and anime sets
- — Voice written for the artist, not a stock spa
- — Local SEO — services, address, and a path that Google can read

Payments and consent
Deposits go to her Venmo. New clients fill out a branded consultation and consent form on her site — five steps on a phone, a signature, a PDF in her type, a copy in Drive.
Venmo deposits, native intake, signed PDF, Drive filing
See the live formThe problem
Booking asked for a deposit, and intake lived on Jotform — off-brand, easy to abandon, and awkward to file. None of that felt like the rest of the studio.
The approach
I wired payment to her Venmo so a $25 deposit holds the time. Then I replaced Jotform with a native form on lashesbylj.com. Clients stay on her site, complete a five-step consultation on their phone, and sign. Legal copy is shared with the studio policy page.
What shipped
Intake looks like the brand. She gets paid the way she already uses. Both LJ and the client get a branded PDF, and a copy is saved to Google Drive by year and client name. Paperwork lives in Gmail and Drive, not a third-party form.
- — Deposit on Venmo from the site
- — Branded, mobile-first 5-step consultation (details, health, lashes, aftercare, consent)
- — Signature, initials, and an under-18 guardian path
- — Signed PDF in her brand type, emailed to the studio and the client
- — Automatic filing in Google Drive by year and client name
- — Cutover from Jotform so Home, Services, and Policy all stay on-site
